Goodyear MTR's in the snow

Anyone out there have experience with the original Goodyear MTR that came stock on the rubicons in the snow and ice? Just got a set on 16" Moab's from a friend. Curious how well they will be in CO during the winter.

Oh and if you want to get even better snow traction, spend the extra $60 and have the tires siped. I have a friend who had his tires done and what a difference it made lol

you cen never go wrong with a bfg a/t! the origional mtr is great as well but i thing esspecially for a smaller dd/ snow tire bfg wins... but the mtr is a good 2nd.

Thanks for all the advise guys. For now I willstick with the MTR and get the siped. Seems like thats what a lot of peeps are doing to their MT's and seems to be working.
