As we can see here, I can get the MEVOTECH hubs for $35 with a 5yr / 60,000mi warranty.... or I can get the MOOG ( known brand with good history) for twice as much $$$, but only get a 36/36,000 warranty.

Someone tell me why I shouldn't go with the good name brand for more $$$ and less warranty.

Or why I should go with the brand I've never heard of for half the price AND much better warranty............????????????

Kind of a catch 22.....
Do I trust the MEVOTECH brand?
I guess I should or else they wouldn't have that good of a warranty, right?

I used Moog about 5 years ago and they are still good . I always look at the Warranty when ordering because that tells you how long the company thinks what will be the shortest time the part will last . At least that is one of the things I look at .

Won't speak to brand/price. You will get opinions on both sides of that unless something is just total junk. But ask yourself this. If you get those from mail order, what happens when you have to warranty it? How long do you wait etc.

And not to nit pick, but just FYI. We normally refer to those as unit bearings, which is what they are and distinguishes those from the old fashioned "Hubs" used on older Jeeps that used two berings, a spindle and had "locking hubs" most of the time.

Probably comes down to a coin flip.

If they're called unit bearings, I believe the entire aftermarket sales community didn't get that memo.
But at least I will sound like I know what I'm taking about when I say unit bearings....

Try the SKF ones for $65 or so. Name brand. I put one on
my Jeep a year ago and still OK.
