It is one of those situations where you get what you pay for. Right now I have one heavy duty and 1 non HD due to a inventory screw up. I don't notice a difference. Depending on brand some may offer a better warrenty. Also if your running a rig with large tires and something like 3.75 in back spacing you may want a HD one. It is really tough to say which will last longer or which is stronger. My personal opinion is unless the the extra dough up front is going to save me in the long run, I'll buy the cheaper ones everytime because from what I can tell, an extra 20$ or 30$ hasnt stopped me from breaking them more often than I'd like. Running a stock setup, which it looks like you are, I'd say don't buy the Cheapo ones, but don't waste your cash ones that are more than you need.

I bought some Timken hubs from idiotzone (Autozone) only because they offered a three year warranty on them. Most hub units I've seen only carry a one year warranty, even the top dollar ones. I think all the hub units are made overseas if that's a problem with you. The timkens I bought were made in East Jabip, or some such third world chit hole.
I didn't want to go with the cheapest hub units available only because I don't want to go through the drill of replacing them a year down the road.

I'd buy the complete unit, not just the bearings. if the bearings have failed odds are the hub will be scoured up any how. I bought the cheaper ones, I think they were either National or Timkin. the MOOG hubs were $40 a peice more, I just couldn't justify the extra $80.

I went to autozone for mine, and asked what qualified it for a price match. They said as long as the warranty time limit matched (not the name) they would match the competitors price. So i had them call advanced and priced their cheapy model. So i got a timken bearing at autozone for the generic price of advanced auto bearings. I dont know if the guy at autozone screwed up or not but i took the timken and ran. I hope you can have the luck i did, if you do buy two!!!
