I got a XJ 4.0 and its a Country
What is my gear ratio..

im lookin at this chart and Ive come to the conclusion it can either be 3.55 or 3.73.
Plus im lookin at a powertrax locker and they want to know if I have tracloc or not.

I always thought it was 3.55 with tracloc.
But now that I wanna buy a locker it just got confusing.

 

The tracloc diff has a different carrier than the open diff. Gotta know which diff u have in order to get the correct Ptrax.

 

Easiest way to check the gear ratio is to jack up the rear, spin the tire one revolution. Count the number of times the driveshaft spins. If it spins 3 1/2 times you have 3.55 gears. A little more than 4 times, 4.10 etc etc
