So i just got a 96 cherokee 4.oL h.o. its all stock what is the gear ratio?

auto 3:55, manuel 3:07 but there is a tag hanging off one of the diff cover bolts that says it if there are other ratios

You can send jeep an email through their web site. Ask them for a build sheet request. This will tell you everything original to the vehicle. The vin number is required.

It could be either
3:07 for manual
3:55for auto
3:73 with tow package
4:11 with a 4 cylinder and manual
