Is coastal or valvoline/high performance 75w-90 any good? Its going in my d30 with powertrax no slip locker. Dont wanna put total junk in there and tear up the new locker.

You won't tear it up. Personally if you're not taking it for a swim often I'd run a heavier 75w140 just on account of the forces when those things ratchet.

Or if the manufacturer specified a grade use that.

They just say w/e your manufacture suggests. If heavier is better for the locker and for the 4.88s that will be going in to compensate for my 36s
