Default Gasket choice?

Ok I'm just wondering, before I buy one, if there is a better gasket to get for the intake/exhaust combo gasket on the 4.0. I've looked at fel-pro but I don't really feel a paper type gasket for the exhaust manifold is a good idea but I could be over thinking this any feedback would be appreciated.

I have a Fel-Pro gasket on my 4.0, as long as you have both mating surfaces clean and torque the nuts and bolts to spec (24ftlbs), you should have no problems.

Fel-pro is the only type gasket I will use. I currently have it on my 99 with an APN header. No problems. I even buy the Fel-pro gaskets even when the part I'm changing comes with their own gaskets like the water pump and t-stat housing. I've used Fel-pro for years on customers cars when I worked in shops and dealerships. It's the way to go.

Yeah I did the $40 valve cover gasket already definitely was worth it, I have a tendency to overthink sometimes except when I plan on doing something that people think I shouldn't do then I just do it lol

I'm not sure what material is the Fel-Pro intake/exhaust gasket is made of but it is not paper. It feels like some sort of "metallic" material. Real well made.
