gas tank woes....

+1 no need for a BBQ, park it till you can repair it correctly.

WOW, do you defuse bombs for a living or something? I would seriously mess my pants if I was that close to something like that.

the leaks seems to have stopped...at first it was slowed down to where it would just trickle a tiny bit every now and then...so i drove back to the parts store and got something else because i seen where it was comming from...then by the time i got home to apply the stuff, the leak was completely sealed, the sending unit was completely dry and looked good...my guess is the gas made the epoxy putty swell? or maybe the pressure made it fit better?
either way for now it seems to be fixed until i can afford a new one
