I've never had any of my other vehicles do this. Is there any way of cooling it down?

The straight answer is that if you go to put gas in it, especially after running down the road aways in this heat, just loosen the cap sloooooooooowly until the pressure is released.

I live in the South. It's always hot here unless it is cold. I've had multiple vehicles do that over the years.

I would do that but the gas fumes are strong inside the cab. I just want to be able to drive it with out worrying about it. And be able to drive it longer then 30 mins with out getting high off the gas

It could be the carbon canister, or some fuel/vapor lines under the hood. If it's as bad as you now describe, it needs to be checked out for sure. You could have raw fuel somewhere.

I guess I'll have to put it in the shop. Cuz I've looked and looked.
