Gas Filler Hose Leak

Gas Filler Hose Leak
Ok guys, a couple days ago I went to fill up me jeep when all of a sudden I see a fair amount of gas leaking right from where I was filling it up. I took off the cover beneath the filler hose and realized the leak is coming from somewhere along the hose. What is the best way to replace this hose and do I need to drop the gas tank to get at it and replace it? Thanks

You shouldn't need to drop the tank to replace the hose. Can you access both ends of it? Just loosen the clamps, get a new hose and new clamps if yours are rusty, and hook 'er all back up!

You will probably need to lower the tank, not completely remove it, to get to the clamps. I think one is a 5/16 & one is 3/8. Something dumb like that.
Just make sure to clean the hoses & the covered area to keep trash out of the tank.
