well if you dont have a test light i suggest buying one, theyre like 5 bucks at walmart for the good one, and a hint with them is always ground the ground wire on the tester on a good spot thats not the ground wire going to what ever you are testing....id start by pulling the bulbs getting a helper to put it in rev. and test the pwr wires with a good ground (the nearest metal item on body that you can get down to bare metal, so make sure its hidden or something non important, i wouldnt scratch through the body paint or anything lol) and see if it has power...if not then you know to trace the power wire down the line, if not id hit the fuses for em, take the fuse out hit both terminals where the fuse blades go and see if it has power, youll start getting a rough idea where the break is from there, if it has power with the spot you grounded the tester, move the ground to the ground wire for the bulbs, if it doesnt light you know you have to trace the ground, if it has power check for corrosion on the terminals where the bulb hits....if it has power from the pwr terminal and ground terminal you know the bulbs bad......thats just a general bulb wire test technique for you.......i also know that the switches on the trans (theyre on the diagram i sent you) do go bad from time to time also, so if theres power at the fuse, no power in the back, i would look to them next before tearing everything apart to trace the wires........

I didnt mean to write a book but just trying to be helpful lol
