Default Fuel smell in cab ?

Lately my 01 has had a fuel smell inside. It is way worse with the window down, but is also present with windows up. Any common places to check for a leak ?

Check the retainer ring ontop of your fuel tank. Make sure its tight. Or you could need a new gasket. Dropping the tank isn't hard. Tracking down fuel leaks can be challenging. I would start at the tank first though.

Check under the hood and around the injectors and the fuel rail connections. Mine has a connection at each end of the rail. Warm it might evaporate straight away and be harder to spot. Maybe turn the ign. to on a couple times than look with a really good light. When the window is open it creates a vacuum in the cab sucking air in. It used to be a nice ABC type fire extinguisher was only $15. I think they went up though.
