However it has a strong smell of fuel inside the cabin. Any ideas?

You either have a a leaking fuel line or leaking fuel tank vent line somwhere under your jeep. Time to get dirty. Crawl under your jeep back by the tank and work your way forward checking all lines and connection. You'll find where the problem is. It should be ovious...I.E. a wet spot or a hanging hose.

You might check the lines going to the evap canister, mine has a line that needs to be replaced and I do smell fuel occasionally... Just a thought

check the injectors if they are leaking.. but they won't leave a strong smell in the cabin for sure..

The rollover valve is on top of the gas tank.

It doesn't smell on very short trips, only once it warms right up.

Is it worth pulling the tank out to check the rollover valve?

cant see any stains around the injectors.

It's probably not fuel injectors. You can physically tell if they are leaking or not. And if yours are anything like mine were before I replaced mine, then you'll know.

I have a 96 XJ that does the same thing. In the manuel it says not to fill tank too full or it will do that. Is it only when you fill it? If so ,dont fill it so full . Worked for me .

No, not when I fill it, usually only 1/4 tank but not all the time either... worse on hot days.
