To cut a long story short someone worked on my engine and disconnected the fuel line from the fuel rail, after running my jeep for a bit it started leaking from there. I removed the plastic clip and looked at the o-ring, it was in two
. The dealership doesn't have them on site so they can ship a kit of them in for $35
. Is there a way to just replace it with a normal fuel line + a hose clamp or am I outta luck on a cheap fix?

x2. Don't try a "cheap fix" when it comes to something as important as your fuel system. Do it right the first time, so you don't have a bigger issue later.

Do the o-rings just sit below the retainer clip? I also found out there is supposed to be a spacer, which is missing on mine. Would an extra o-ring serve the same purpose, or do i really need a spacer? (Not trying to be cheap guess that was the wrong word
