Hmmmm. Just did a search and came up empty. Plenty of steel available.

Lots of plastic tanks for the old Wagoneer/Cherokee, though.

Throw a new steel tank in that 25 year old vehicle and enjoy another 25 years.

while I'm here, can anybody tell me if there is a better, close to factory exhaust, i should run with? almost 200k miles, and 25 years old, I'm wondering if it should be replaced as well. if so, any suggestions on kits? i don't want some noisy high performance exhaust. if it has better flow, i won't complain. but I'm curious if that cat converter might have some issues.

I run a dynomax superturbo cat back. Sounds similar to stock but a bit better.

is there some better rear springs to go with? might give me 1" or so, and maybe stiffen the rearend up just a little?

There's only one brand that cruiser54 recommends highly; BG 44K. He's an old (yeah, I said it! ) mechanic and knows his stuff.

On the springs, depends what you want to do. Might just need stock replacements. Our Jeepies do get saggy rears after a while.

If they are flat, you probably just need stock. Lots of threads on the subject.

i appreciate it. they are almost flat. replaced the shocks when i first got her. they were horrible. made a hell of a difference, but i think factory springs will do the trick. all i use it for is a little run around town beater and to go out to the ranch.
