Changing out tailgate window motor - 76 Cherokee

Hey gang,

The rear window of my Cherokee is in the up position. The dude I bought it from said that it just needs a new rear motor. So I bought a new rear motor and was going to take a stab at replacing it myself.

Motor I bought:

Amazon.com: Cardone 42-22 Remanufactured Domestic Window Lift Motor: Automotive

I have the carpet off the tailgate and assume the motor is behind the regulator/large round gears. Before I start, I thought I would research it online. I couldn't find any Youtube videos, so I am asking you as I am an idiot and I don't know what I am doing. How difficult is it to swap out the motor?

Thanks, Freegdr. I saw that too. His motor was okay so it didn't show him replacing it.

I was able to locate the motor inside. Looks like I will have to take the regulator out to get to it. I'll take some pictures and try to take some notes down on the experience for anyone else that may need it in the future.
