I have a 1990 Cherokee Limited with the notorious Bendix 9 abs system. I am doing the WJ MC/booster conversion and keeping the rear drums. I have a MC and booster ready to go. Lots of brake lines from the junk yard and my brake flaring tool.

I don't have a proportioning valve from a disc/drum, non-abs Cherokee. I have two, abs proportioning valves. The stock one and a leftover pv from a 94 with abs.

My question: Can I modify the stock abs PV to a non-abs PV? Or should I just wait until the junkyard has a non-abs Cherokee I can swipe the PV off of?

I know the abs PV has 6 ports and only uses 4 while the non-abs PV uses 5 (two go to the front brakes, 2 go to the master cylinder, and 1 goes to the rear brakes).
