Fuel issues, wont start, pump keeps priming
Hello all,
Last night my jeep would not start after I left work. It turns over fine, but won't fire. When I leave the key on, you can hear the pump priming constantly. It has a funny sound too. Not a high pitched buzz as usual, but a deeper bass sounding tone. It does not shut off! Also, while it's doing that, there is a loud buzzing coming from the fuel pump relay under the hood. I tried swapping the a/c fan relay into that location, and it still made the noise, and would not start.
All the wires look good, grounds are fine, but i'm not sure where to even start.
Any ideas? I gotta get this thing home! Thanks guys!

No leaks, and I'm going to test the valve on the fuel rail for fuel. Just found it strange it wouldn't stop priming, as well as the buzzing from the relay.
It threw a code as well, and I'm going to scan that after work.

Mine did that a few times and would eventually start up fine if I left it sit for a while and tried again. I cleaned up all my grounds and replaced the cam position sensor and it hasn't done it again.

I've read about the bypass mod, I think i'll try that this weekend. I managed to get it to start, started rough, but I got it home. Tried to start it again, and wouldn't start.
What a pain.
Thanks for the tips

I sure did. Oddly enough, the wire harness that runs against the driver side fender had a wire that was being rubbed by the intake box and was slightly corroded and split in half.
