I guess I'll counter, I haven't taken a shot at it yet......
If you are driving a modified vehicle like it was stock you are retarded. It was designed to do what the owner's manual says it will do in stock configuration. ANY modification to the engine, powertrain, suspension even the stereo alters it from original manufacturer's configuration. Then it won't perform like the manufacturer says it will. If you have 35's on your jeep and the original brake configuration then you taking just as big a chance on the highway as the guy with 31's and no front sway bar.
Any time you get in your jeep and go down the freeway your taking a risk. If you mount a bunch of heavy shiezer to your roof rack and try to avoid a deer at 75 mph and hit a bad patch of asphalt your probably gonna roll it on over......
Everything you do to a vehicle to modify it from original configuration will make it less safe somehow.
Be smart, take the front swaybar off and realize that it now has a ton more flex, which also means its no longer in the original configuration so its going to perform differently........
Just think about what your doing to a vehicle when you mod it and the Pros and Cons of each mod.
Would I take a XJ with 38's and no swaybars and the orginal brakes out on the highway, Heck Yes!!!!!!!!! Would I be surprised when I jerk the wheel as hard as I can while I'm doin' 70 that it does a cartwheel......Well...No i wouldn't. But I don't drive a modified toy like I do my other vehicles.

Kinda strange.....you all running without swaybars on the road....like to have the most flex for the trail....where it's needed....and less preformance and safety on the road....WHERE IT'S NEEDED! Don't understand! I like the best of both worlds! Disconnects all the way...There cheap!

you know i go swaybarless as well but i don't think it is the best idea to tell others to do it. you might be ok with it so may i but the first time some body dies in a freeway wreck from taking off his sway bar that you said is ok to take it off i guess you will be the one talking to his family right
it is your buisness to do what ever you want but do not advise people to run with out it
half the time mine is connected. but i keep loosing bolts and nuts from my Fancy JKS disconnects.
I dont give a damn what people choose to do. i just wrote what i have and how fast i go.
