I err on side of safety, not my personal comfort, my lucky brushes with death, or disregard for others on the road.

My 95 has been running 3inch no sway bars for years. Expect alot of body roll. But doable. Being 17 and not knowing any better I cut the sway bar mounts right off the Dana 30. Wish I didn't do that but oh well.
I just lifted my 00 and one of the links broke during my install. So at the moment I'm running no front sway bar. Again alot sloppier and body roll in turns. But I drive it to work daily....
Moral of the story is if you don't mind the sloppiness then you can go without them. But if you wanna go on the highway and do 80.... I suggest getting quick discos. That's what I'm doing. It just doesn't make sense to me anyways to cut corners especially if this is your dd.

stock links won't work even with a 3in lift. You need to either get brackets to drop the sway bar. (which will come with an RC series 2 3inch lift). Or get extended links....
