Default Front shock bushing

Hi all, noob to the forum and the world of the XJ.

I am needing to replace my upper front shock bushings but not sure how to go about it. Basically the bushing(s), at least on the left side, are shot. I'm guessing there are two of them on the top...one in the engine compartment and one on the wheel well side? I have a 3"lift on my vehicle (bought with it on already) and am not sure if I can just go to NAPA or elsewhere and get replacement bushings or do I need something other then stock replacements because of the lift? Seems to be a straight forward job of taking off the nut and putting new bushing(s) and washers on correct?

I considered poly or even cut hockey pucks as replacements since they seem to be a little sturdier then the rubber bushings.

Other then oil changes, some wiring, a little cutting/drilling, and tire rotations, I've never done much to a vehicle.
Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, I did search but didn't really see anything along these lines.

if you have a lift . then places like NAPA will not have bushing for your shocks. You can go to any custom auto parts store and get them to order bushings from the company of your lift. Go with poly bushings

Thanks JS. Wasn't sure if OEM replacements would work or not. Figured poly would be the best to use.
