Default Front end wobbling while turning in 4H

I'm about to purchase a 2001 J Cherokee Sport in a few days and while test driving it the front end started wobbling (badly) when turing in 4H from the stop sign. The owner said it was normal and that there was nothing wrong with it. He said it was checked out when he bought the car 2 years ago because of the same thing and the garage said it was normal.... "it's a jeep not a luxury suv" Aside from that the car is perfect.

Thanks for your help.

If you were on asphalt, then yes it's normal. Good way to snap a u-joint.

Yeah a little jumping is definitely normal. If its more than a little it could already have a bad U-joint. Not too expensive to get fixed. If its a good price I would go for it!
