hi i posted about a shaking problem of the front of my jeep i was wondering if it could be the sway bar. I currently dont have one on it could that be why i shake when i try to go over 20 mph.Registered Users
no i dont think it would be your sway bar id first check and make sure you steer linkage isnt bent then i would check the front end alignment. i once had the same problem and it turned out the the drag link had a slight bend in it after i hit a rock. do to the way the linkage cycles with the susp. it pretty criticale to have it all straight. also check and make sure u dont have any worn out bushings in the susp. arms.

you should check all thoes ^^ but if you drive on the road you should get a front sway bar it could toss you around a bit

If your front end is 'shaking' at 20 MPH driving in a straight line, the lack of a sway bar has nothing to do with this. Sway bars resist lateral body motion.
You have a sizable front end frequency harmonic. Search using terms such as 'front end shimmy', 'front shake', 'death wobble' and 'DW'. Finding the cause can be as easy as rotationg your tires to spending hundreds of dollars replacing any number of front end components
