Default Front right vibration

Ok everyone, I’ve got a stock 93 xj with 162k on it. I’ve owned it for @ 3 months. I’ve been dealing with the “death wobble” and have almost eliminated it but I still have a shimmy or vibration in the front right. Its the same thing that would start the wobble before I started replacing front end parts. It starts at @ 55 mph. So let me tell you what I’ve replaced. I posted this in my last post of a problem that was worked out. Track bar, stabilizer, front shocks, sway bar links and bushings, steering gear box, alignment and wheels balanced. I’ve have two sets of stock wheels that have been swapped to make sure it wasn’t a bad tire. Both hub assemblies, calipers, rotors and pads. I’ve had three different mechanics tell me the ball joints are good. So give me some advice folks.

Good question. I haven’t checked. I’m getting down to only a few things left and that’s one of them. Thanks.

I'm kind of in the same boat. My '96 sits in the garage now waiting for a new track bar and drop bracket. Pretty sure that'll take care of the slight vibration in the steering wheel and out front I get at,you guessed it,55mph.

Not so new. Good tread and both sets have been balanced.

Id suggest new tires on the front, Alot of times these are very sensitive to tire age as well. In my case my older tires had the death wobble patterns worn into the tires lol, new set later it went away. What is the date code on it?

Both sets of wheels and tires are less than 3 years old. I’ve changed them around and have tried 4 different ones on the right front. All 8 wheels have been balanced. The vibration only occurs in the right front @ 55 to 60 mph?

Is it a 4x4 because if it is you have a u joint in the axle there , have you checked that ?

I had a wicked vibration that shook the whole vehicle starting around 55, until I changed the U joint in the front left axle. If you get the shaft out to have a look, it needs to be straight on an axis, through both parts of the shaft. If the joint doesn't have all 4 clips in right, this will be the result. Fixed it and smooth right on up to 65-70.
