ik sorry theres a million other threads like this but, i really want to narrow down my problem.

i recently had bad death wobbles from 50+ mph, and found out it was my trakbar bushings that were really bad and had alot of play. so i replaced those with brand new silicone bushings. drove it for the rest of the day and the death wobble was Gonee even at 75 mph. nd my steering was nice and responsive with no play anymore. but i still have a slight pull to the right because its slightly unaligned. but thats not a huge concern right now. but culd b part of my problem now..

then later that night i was bored and went my my beach and saw some rocks and small boulders, soo i felt like getting my driver side tires up on them. so i did, nd i was taking it easy. and since it was really dark out, i didnt see this gap between one rock and a slightly taller rock that was about half the height of my tires, nd i rolled foward a bit more nd my front left tire fell between the two rocks. i herd a crack. ****. i got a little stuck and gave her some gas nd was able to climb out in reverse. wooh! i got out nd looked around nd discovered the crack was just from my fender flare hitting the rock nd popping out a bit.

so now when i drive, i think my steering feels a littleee loose on the right side, nd now im getting vibrations when going over 50-60 mph.. nd the faster i go it gets worse. no death wobble.. just a vibration i can feel thru my seat and steering wheel.

any suggestions of what it can be???
its a stock xj. no lifts or new tires or wheels.

 

Un-Balanced tires, Alignment, U Joint, Tie Rod End, Ball Joints, Part of the rack or pinion, Idler arm, bad steering stabilizer, Trac bar(bushings, angles, bolts), Axle mounts, control arm bushings, steering box bolts/spacers, frame(cracks in the frame could make the steering box feel loose), driveshaft unbalanced.

 

I honestly have no idea but don't vibration in the seat have something to do with warped rotors? Quite possibly not but I know I've heard of what can cause this just can't think what.

Like I said not sure...

 

^Only when braking, unless a pad is dragging. Highly doubtful cause it would happen all the time if the pads were dragging on the rotor. His only happens at 60mph+

 

yeah, and it doesnt really calm down wen i let off the gas. but ik all tht stuff could be a possibility, but i want to try to narrow it down.. whats most likely to be the problem from what happened? from fallin between those two rocks

Midas does free diagnostics. Use it to your advantage.

Get an appointment, they check and tell you whats wrong, find a cheaper place to fix it.

 

okay sweet, yeah ill deff call em up soon. im in my adobe illustrator class now.. wait, got one, ykydaxjw your in class on cf trying to figure out whats wrong with your xj. bahahah wow. but you know how much an alignment is? cz thats something i cant do, so if midas checks it out, mind as well do that while im there. nd any other problems they find ill do it myself w my dad.

You could also look under your jeep and see where the rock hit, and that will probably be the problem part

 

yeahh it didnt really hit ne thing underneith.. it just smashed the fender up a lil. but i jus brought it to midas nd they said everything is fine but i just need an alignment nd wheel balancing nd im set.
