front end wobble need info
88 xj 4wd 235/75/r15 wrangler, 6" skyjacker coils and pitman arm, 3" steel block in rear, IL6 4.0 dana 44 rear end, dana 30 front.
Ok changed out old springs with new 6" skyjackers front coils, changed pitman arm for 6", adjusted shocks, can drive at 0-39 mph fine 40+ is ok till you hit a bump then the whole front will wobble and shake the whole vehicle violently. i know that i need alignment and it still has stock control arms. so what can i do to make that quit and get my 88xj back to highwayspeeds.

What else do you have in the front?it is not stock is it? I should have read the whole thing, late I guess.
You need to change out the control arms for sure,at 6" you are very close to 0 on the caster, and you need an adj track bar to center your axle. 4" lift is the most you can go without having issues on stock parts. Even a 4" lift needs aftermarket ca's and track bar.
You can try a new stabilizer shock but that is strictly a bandaid and not a cure.

that's what ithought looking at getting the 6" long arms, i have been kinda of piecing it all together, dont really have alot of moneyto just buy whole lift, delima. just went out and took a measurement from level ground to fender without flare and not trimed and have 37 1/2". so 6" long arms adjustible track arm. what about the top arms do theyneed to be replaced as well.

With 6" they you should replace both upper and lowers, but just putting lowers on will help.
Just to make sure I understand what you are saying, you want to get a long arm lift or you are refering to the ca's as in they need to be longer

Ok,maybe you can find some used adjustable lca's for now until you can afford the ones you want because your not going to correct this issue until you get the caster back closer to at least +4-5.
How are the other bushings in the front?
you may want to consider go back to what worked until you have the rest of the lift. 6" is to much for stock ca's and track bar.

It is kinda of hard to give you a list because you want the long arms and cannot afford them, here is a list of what will fix it.
adj track bar, lower control arms, uppers to but you may get away without them, new front disconnects for the sway bar,and longer brake lines before you flex it much, and with all that it should stop it if the rest of the bushings are in good shape.
If you go cheap that all will run about $500-$600.
Check out rough country for good prices and ironman for good quality and resonable prices for what you get.
If you look at your jeep right now it looks like a sharkmthe front axle is pulled toward the rear,i cannot see it from the side but it should be way back,it needs to ne pushed back out so the caster will go back to normal and the pinion will come back down.
