Front end clunking
I have some clunking going on somewhere in the front end. I can kinda feel it in the floor boards, driver side, and it doesn't act like a bad cv-joint, or what ever they are called in this vehicle. If I crank hard right or left while going slow I don't get any clicking noises. It is only when I first start to pull away after it has been sitting and then when pulling in to parking lots or bumps at slow speeds.
I will be crawling under their tomorrow and I just thought I might be able to get some advice on what to look for. I plan to just check out all the bushings and see if anything seems loose.

I had a clunking noise when turning slowly into a parking spot, and it turned out to be my track bar on the frame side was shot. Replaced that and was good to go.
It might be that for you, won't hurt to check.

Clunking
If the bushings look fine, and the wheel bearings are good, check the steering gear box. I had a clunking sound on the drivers side and the 3 bolts that hold the box to the frame had completly broke off. Good thing I was in my driveway when the last one finally broke off.

Check your engine mounts.....I had the same kind of issues and found that my driver side mount was split in half! and had all kinds of play on the passenger's side.....replaced both and I am now clunkless!......hope this helps....
