anybody know the specific length of my drive shaft. it a 99 xj sport with an np242, aw4, it has the 27 spline rerverse cut, d30... and if not sure of length. it is sitting in the back of my jeep, so i could measure, but, and this may sound a little slow, but how do i get an accurate measurement? it has fixed yokes, so its just the DS as a complete unit. any info is helpful. thanks.

 

You are supposed to measure from the middle of the U-joint cap up front to the middle of the u-joint cap against the transfer case.

A good driveshaft shop like Adams already knows how long to make you one if you just tell them what you have and what lift you have.
