Default front driveshaft help

OK well i noticed a clunking noise in my front drive shaft today. I have a np207 tcase so it has the cv joint instead of the ujoint. I was wondering it there was anyway to convert the cv shaft to a ujoint shaft. I know the np231 had that style shaft and was wondering if the yokes would interchange. That way i could run the u joint shaft. Just thought I would ask. I dont want to put another cv in it because it will go out again soon.! Please let me know! thanks!

If I remember correctly, you will have to change out put flanges also. Make sure the length is right.

not to thread hijack but, what vehicles come with that DS and yoke? i found a 93 zj in a yard and it had that DS lying in the back of it. does that mean it has a np231 with correct yoke??

just use the yoke from a 231 and it should fit right up, but make sure you measure your transfer case to axle distance cause i am not sure if it is the same length.
