Nice site 5-90, alot of useful info there.. Bookmarked
Thanks. I'm trying to make a "one-stop shop" for Jeep Tech info, and expand on that with my books (Swappology is a parts interchange guide. Yep, I'm working on it. Nope, I can't honestly give a release date for it yet...)

I add specs as I accumulate FSMs. If you have any you want to get rid of, run it past me and I'll see if it can fill a hole here. Ideally, I want to go all the way back to 1941 MA/MB/GPW...

just a quick update, for everyone having trouble finding the front diff gasket, at Advanced Auto Parts(cant beat the deal they have for complete oil changes) they do have the part but its under Ford D30 using the parts number that mike gave brought it up and it was a perfect fit, just so everyone knows. Thanks again mike

Here is the one that fits the d30 in my Grand. What would be the difference in the 2 D30s? http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._R|GRP60009___

I didnt even think to look at the grand cherokee.. i would assume nothing, because the D30 ford worked on mine.

glad I could help

its strange that Advanced Auto Parts doesn't have a listing for the Cherokee
but a d30 gasket will fit universally
