$1900!? That's insane. Did they see that picture? Is that quote from an actual frame shop or a body shop? Maybe they think it's a solid frame vehicle. The Cherokee unibody steel can be pulled very easily. It would take a frame shop 10 minutes to straighten that out. Check this video out, at 11:30 this Cherokee's front cross-member is pulled straight effortlessly.

Seems like most shops have three prices: For other shops and pros, 1x; For people they respect/ seem to be in the know, 1.2x; and people (women) they think are clueless, 3x. Every time I find a place that operates like that I make sure everyone knows how dishonest they are with pricing.

It's not bad. Check out my 98 XJ police package. I got her wrecked and revived it. I recommend just cutting and welding in a new cross member. Easier for me to do than to pay a shop.

I had to straighten my front cross member last month from an accident by the previous owner. Granted, it was not as serious as the picture you provided. It took me and my dad less than two hours and a leisurely pace. We did not get it perfect, but you can get it pretty close.

In the picture, it looks like the frame rail is still solid, but the cross member is what is bent. Can you provide more pictures? We might be able to give you some more tips.
