Default ford 8.8 question

Almost done with a ford 8.8 swap in my xj. question i have for everyone is, i went to install my u bolts and i realized the plates that go on top of the axle which the u bolts go through are to small. what is the solution to my problem?

either buy the plates, or get the plates off of a nexploder or f150.

i just got a 94 xj and i alread swaped in a dana 30 thats been trused with 3.73 gears, i have a a couple of exsplorers and i took the axle out of one to put in the jeep and i need new mounts to weld on the axle and were could you get them. i also want to keep the disk breaks on the 8.8, so do i need to change anything to make them work with the stock master cylinder?

don't know about the mounts, but as for the disc brakes still working, you can get away without changing anything, but from what I've read swapping out proportioning valves will make a world of a difference... do a search in the forum.
