Fog lights not working
99 XJ
I am trying to get my factory lfog lights working and I need a few suggections on where to go next.
I am getting about 11.0 volts at the bulb when the switch is on and the light in the switch does not work.
What should I check next?

Well I cleaned the switch up per this thread.
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/fo...repair-109808/
Kind of helped but my switch is pretty melted and the little bar doesn't really slide freely in the plastic. I scraped a little with a small knife on the plastic but it didn't help much. looks like Im ready for a new switch.
I shorted out the two middle connectors on the wiring harness but still no lights.
I took the lights apart and they were rusted pretty bad as well. I cleaned them up as best I could and finally got then working but not too reliably.
I think to fix this for good I need a new switch and new lights.

Bolt in replacement. Could not tell you how long it will last but appeared made well enough and fit perfect. I have no complaints. Free ship.
