Smoking after sitting for a month?
Alright, so my 2001 Cherokee has been sitting for a month, the day after Easter and I've been installing the lift. I went to start it to check on the steering and noticed white smoke and some water leaving the tailpipe and then a little white smoke coming from under the coil tail and thermostat housing. I leak a little from the valve cover and thermostat housing. Also, I looked at the oil cap and it's clean. But I looked at the radiator cap and the antifreeze is clean but around the edges it looks a bit milky but I think it might be mud. Any ideas? The first time I noticed I thought it was a lot. Then I ran it again and it did the same thing but not as much.

Hard to tell from the pic. Fix your thermostat housing leak; tolerate no coolant leaks.
With any 00-01, you want to know if coolant level is going down from a leak or if it is something more insidious like the 0331 cylinder head problem. The #1 symptom of a cracked 0331 is "unexplained coolant loss", so always keep a close eye on the level in the coolant reservoir.

I have noticed that I have a lot of coolant loss but I'm 99% certain it was from the housing. I'll fix it and keep watching my levels, thank you

The water coming from the exhaust tip isn't a bad thing... Sometimes there is condensation in the pipe and the exhaust will force it out... I have seen it plenty of times.
Also check your dip stick, if that has the milk shake stuff on it you might have something to worry about. The one time I experienced a head issue the milky **** was everywhere and thick as all hell!
Does it try and overheat if you let it idle for 15 mins?

There was nothing on the dipstick when I checked the fluid level and neither was it on the oil cap. Tomarrow I'm gunna open the garage up and start it and let it run for a good period to see how it behaves . I just want some opinions on what to expect or to look for

Yeah let it run for a few mins and watch the temp gauge then shut it off and check the oil. If everything looks good then your probably ok. Keep us updated on what happens.
