Default floor pan removal

Im finally doing my long over due floor pans and just want to see how everybody separates the pan from the frame rails. I'm gonna try using an air hammer with a chisel attachment unless anyone has an easier way of goin about it. Sorry I have no pics. My computer is broken and can't seem to figure out how to get them here from my phone.

Aren't they spot wielded? If they are buy a drill bit for drilling out the wields. Might be easier

Well I tried drilling out the spot welds and using the air hammer and the air hammer approach wins. The air hammer just rips the floor pan right off and leaves the framerails nice and clean

Man, I wish I had an air hammer when I did my floor pans. I used a chisel and hammer for a while lol. Got sick of it and just ground to some clean steal and welded it up. Still holdin' up.

I was surprised how good the air hammer works I have a chisle like attachment that separates the floor from the framerails unbelievably well and also have a cutting atachment that cuts through the rest of the pan like butter.

I have plenty of pics but it won't let me upload from my phone. I'll try and find a computer to use later today and try to post some.

I ended up using a grinder as well.

You gotta use whatever you can sometimes. Just make it happen.

I have had my air chisel over 30 years now. I have found many different attachments for it, work great.

I bought a "sawzall", that works great also.

I just bought a Plasma Cutter, have not hooked it up yet....
