floor pan question

floor pan question
I have a small problem with some rust on my floor pans. Got a few holes. well question is how would you go about cutting it out and welding in a new piece? And if so what would you use to weld it, a spot welder or would a regular 110 volt wire feed welder work.

I just replaced pretty much my whole floor and I just used a 110 stick welder to tack it all and a 110 wire fed MIG to fully weld them into place
