Default Fender Slashed Tire!

I just discovered the front driver side lugs cut down to the carcass for about just under a 4th of the circumference of the tire.
Sorry I don't have a pic, I just found out..........
I think it was the fender even though I trimmed them. This is horrid, I can't just run out and buy another tire (BFG m/t 32")
Can I run it like this? its not losing air, but I'm worried about structural integrity!

Yes there is plenty of rubber still before the cut reaches the thread.

No, but its deep. I would have to guess aproxx 16th to an 8th of an inch past the lugs

Take a screwdriver (flat blade) and probe into the cut. Go as far as you can and twist the screwdriver back and forth. If you can feel it grinding on the steel belts, the slice is too deep. The tire will not stay together very long; a big chunk of it will fly off especially on the freeway.

Also try to pry up one side of the lip of the slash and see if you can see steel belts shining in there.

If either one of these procedures don't show the belts. you are probably OK for now. Just keep a close eye on it.

get yourself some door edge trim/guard.
or do some more cutting.
i've cut mine up higher than the body line and it still looks good. and i don't contact the fender anymore.

Ok, Bad news! At the deepest part of the cut I can feel crunching/popping when I twist the skrewdriver...............dammit! Must have happened the other day when I got the front airborn.

I don't know what to do now.....I'm broke, and there's no fix for this as far as I know.......Thanks guys.
