Its fried.
As I said earlier, if you can feel the steel belts, its too deep.
"Limp home " use as a spare, at best.
I have been in the tire business for over 30 years.

Thank you for the help everyone!
I'm going to see about a replacement monday.
Discount tire quote was $233 with mounting and balance too.
They have a shop up here near me.
Now the hard part.......borrowing the money from a family member
I'm also going to put my 2" hocky pucks back in, and trim the s**t outaa those fenders!
naw, I got 'em from 4wdrive, and did not purchase the warranty.
but then again, I didn't foresee this happening either.

It wasn't a workmanship problem with the tire.

you can trim your fenders a little more, or use some plastic door edge trim/guard, or even bend some 3/8" round stock to form the wheel well and weld that to the fender on the inside. it also makes your fender tuff as hell.

You are just going to have to cut them to have a bigger opening if you want to run xtra large tires and go jump your Jeep.
Also a 4-8" lift and multiple shocks.

Another waste of time and money.
That might protect your fingers from getting cut when you wash your Jeep, but when that tire smacks that fender, that plastic will be the first thing to split, followed by the tire getting cut up a nanosecond later.

Well..........Good news. I got a replacement for $214 out the door! (mounting and balance too)
Bob's Tire in red bluff ca! They ordered it, and the guy sat on the phone for 15+ minutes trying to track one down for me....very cool. (in case no one knows, this design tire has been discontinued in the u.s., they have moved on to the "KM-2")
"less schwab, more Bob"
lol
