Default Fan Clutch - What to use?

So what's the general consensus on what fan clutches to use? This is for my grandfather's 1996 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L. I live in Phoenix so this thing sees extreme temps, 115+ degrees and needs to be perfect.

It currently has a Murray fan clutch from O'Reilly's that I put on a few years ago, it's not engaging so well anymore. It has a lifetime warranty, but I'd rather buy something better.

So, Grand Cherokee fan clutch, 4 cylinder fan clutch?

What brand?

Thanks!

I had NO luck with the Murray clutch from O'reilly.

I have had good luck with the standard clutch from NAPA.

So far so good on the Napa Standard Duty one too. Just been a few weeks though.

Hayden has been good for a year or so in my rig. Still locks/unlocks properly when hot or cold so that's good

I caught O'reilly repackaging a Hayden clutch in a Murray box. They said Murray bought Hayden so there was going to be a period where if you bought a Murray the labeling on the clutch would be Hayden.

Another repackaging trick, like Airtex sneaking their crap on the market under a different brand name.

I had a Hayden clutch on my Heep and it went south almost immediately after installing it. I was so irked I just trashed the Hayden and said to hell with the warranty. That's when I installed the NAPA clutch, which has been operating perfectly for over a year now. The '99 OEM clutch lasted over 100,000 miles.

Pretty sure Napa ones are just rebranded Haydens.

I recently put a ZJ clutch on mine, even though I could wake up the entire block when it's super hot and fully engaged it does pull a significantly higher amount of air then the stock clutch. It is louder at higher rpms and when it's fully engaged there is a slight power drain, but my mpg hasn't been affected.
