exhaust....exhaust...
anyways dude, unless your running a stroker motor or you have big plans for the motor later the hi flow cats arent going to get you a whole lot of performance, but if they need to be replaced you might as well, as for pre cat? that would be the pipe going to the collector of your exhaust manifold / header.
and for the pipe material its up to your wallet and how long you plan to keep your rig, hope this helps-Mike

why doesn't your current exhaust system work?
is it because it's missing the H?
and no, don't start tail first. you want to go the other way about it because once you put it together and use it then replace the front...you'll be pissed that the rear is already corroded.

your terrible spelling is irritating.
anyways,
if you want to replace all of it eventually, do it in one go. otherwise you're gonna absolutely destroy the tail pipe when you upgrade the cat and muffler in the future.

you might want to go header back then you can do the header later but at least do from the header back don't start at the back and come froward you can get a cat back as low as 150 through 4wheel parts .com it is aluminaized (sorry spelling) but they have stainless for a little more. and just replace the cat at the same time.

I replaced my hole system on my 93 about Three weeks ago. My stock manifold was in good condition so I went to NAPA, picked up stock 2 1/4 down pipe, tail pipe and a new O2 sensor. In between all that I fitted a new high flow cat by Magnaflow(you could see right through the thing), I picked that up from Quadratec for 91 bucks after shipping.

For the muffler I bought a Hooker AeroFlow off a friend.(don't know what he paid for it)
http://www.holley.com/types/Aero%20Chamber.asp
New cone gasket, 5 clamps, new isolator and rear hanger.
After all was said and done just about 300 bucks.
Great sound, not to loud. Performance thought... What a difference. Besides a lift exhaust is the best upgrade you could do to your Jeep.
