Default How hard is tranny on 94 Quadratrac Grand to change?

I found a 94 Grand for $800 with a bad tranny, Its pretty solid with a little rust on bottom of doors only. New crate motor 50,000 miles ago. Fully loaded with good leather and all. Would it be worth it? I need to know if I should get it asap. Thanks in advance. Needs front swaybar link, exuast and a good cleaning but otherwise nice. Sorry ,I didnt realize I put this in Cherokee instead of grand.

You have to unhook the exhaust from the manifolds, unhook the f & r ds's, remove the t-case and cross-member, remove the starter, unhook the wires, remove the inspection cover and remove the tc bolts, remove the trans. Installation is reversal of removal.
There's probably things I forgot, but you get the point.
If it's in good shape it's worth it IMO.

<-< Click the arrows in the bottom space to the left where it states the type of his vehicle ad it tells what equipment it has. That's the benefit of people putting in their "Details" in their Profile. IMO

You're right. He did state Quadratrac in the Thread title though.

Yeah but all the confusion would be saved if it was in his first post... not everyone knows what "quadratrac" is... or how to look up his vehicle... but I knew he mentioned one he's was buying... missed the part where he mentioned that though... just saves confusion now and later when someone else searches the post up...
