Default Explorer to cherokee mods

I have a totaled 2000 explorer sitting around collecting rust, I was wondering if anyone knew of any do-able projects I could use any of the explorer parts to mod my 96 cherokee...?

Pretty easy to swap? is it worth it for a daily driver?

Daily driver with no wheeling or mods for bigger tires? I would say no, unless your DD has a Dana 35 rear currently

They are a stronger strut but the hatch opens about three inches lower from what I've read. I just replaced the drivers side strut this weekend with an oem equivalent I got from PepBoys. The hatch damn near opens itself after unlocking it. Only difference is the mounting on the hatch, the new one is a ball joint.

If you haven't upgraded to the zj rear disc brakes on the c8.25 it might be worth it to swap the axles. Just depends on cost difference of modifying the 8.8 to work under the jeep(spring perches, shock mounts, drive shaft adapter)

Heck Yes, I need new hatch struts like you wouldn't believe... It sucks having to prop it open just to work on the inside lol. I'll look a little deeper into the rear end. hey, it's a $1400 dollar xj, I can afford to experiment...
