I'm going to need to replace my manifold. The gasket is still fairly new. Will I need to replace it when I do the manifold?

Thanks haven't been on here in a awhile. That's probably a good thing though.

Personally I would change it just because I have it apart and would want to risk it being cracked. But if you take it off and it's in good shape you can always give it a shot. I just hope that you don't regret it and have to change it out again. Good Luck.

Yea. That's what's on it now. I Was hopping I could be lazy and not take off the intake too.. Probably not a good idea then.

Yes. It's been compressed, and it's subject to "markedly elevated operating temperatures."

Replacing it would cheap insurance - might as well do it, since you're there!

- If you take it apart, it gets a new gasket.
- If it get loosened to move it, it should get a new gasket.
- If you're not sure, it gets a new gasket.

There's nothing like realising you've got to tear the whole damned job down against next week because you tried to cheap out. Believe me, you WILL find a way to kick yourself in the head!
