x2

One of the guys I work with has a flowmaster 44 on his XJ with some odd tail pipe hangin off of it. Its a little too loud for my taste, and just doesent sound right on an XJ.

My next upgrades to the XJ will likley be an intake, maybe a TB spacer, and an exhaust. I would love to hear what the rest of the group has uner their jeep

Any legal issues? My dad had an old malibu when I was growing up and it was loud as all hell. he got pulled over all the time in it

I have a thrush turbo in mine. The reason, it was cheap only 30 bucks. Adds a good sound to it. My friend has a flowmaster 44 on his tj and its comparible.Mines not as loud.

Mine rusted before the cat and it sounded like ****. Does the cat help quiet the truck down much?

I have a magnaflow muffler on mine. It sounds good, but I don't think you are going to get a deep tone out of a 6 cylinder. Mine does get pretty deep when I let off the clutch with the vehicle in gear without pushing on the gas.

I miss my dual flowmasters on my V8 Chevy Truck..

if you want a good sounding exhaust get a cherrybomb glass pack or a purple hornies glass pack. i had the purple hornies with a turndown and it was awesome i took it off because my dad hated it. oh abd btw the purple hornie is prety big lol

I run a cherry bomb turbo. Sounds perfect. Not too loud and not too quiet. It was only 20 bucks at auto zone too! Not sure if the sell them anymore though.
