just got my exhaust manifold out and i want to emphisize pain in the ***!!!
goin to junkyard to get another, also need to replace my valve cover gasket as u can see all the oil all down the block

If you can't find one in the junkyard we carry new replacement ones with a warranty that aren't to expensive.If yah stuck just PM me and I can help yah out.

so we just welded my exhaust manifold on a very tight budget this month but i just need it to get me through inspection so if it last any longer ill be happy.

Too bad you're on the wrong coast. I spotted a brand new manifold on a 96 at the self serve boneyard the other day.

Thats all I do at work. Just weld them theres nothing ever wrong cept where it's cracks.

I noticed that if they would have braced the tubes, up just a little bit from the flange that bolts to the pipe.. it wouldnt not vibrate so much... so when i did my motor... I welded them together in a few places.. stiffen it up some. Have had no issues.. so far.. but then its only been 3000 or so miles..

i welded up mine about 14,000 miles ago and it has been holding up fine. no issues at all =]

Check the transmission mount, if it is bad it will cause the exhaust manifold to break from the added stress and movement.
