Plug wires are fine, nearly brand new, along with the plugs. Injectors are still doing their job. Just now compression. My guess is a stuck valve or bad orings. Not sure exactly on all aspects.

One cylinder is usually a sticky valve/valve not seating unless you have physical damage from something getting in there. Hopefully not too bad.

Thing is rings usually don't just go in one cylinder like that. Please post progress :-) btw you can hook a vacuum guage up to get a better idea of the problem

Sometimes you have to determine what isn't causing something to narrow down what it is.....

Never seen a figure on acceptable runout. Shouldn't be able to feel it when wiggling the shaft side to side though. I'm always curious as to how the distributor gear is worn compared to the teeth on the cam.

Try swapping the #6 injector to a different cylinder and see if the problem follows that injector. If it does, you've found your misfire problem.
That still won't address the compression issue though. Have you tried putting some Seafoam in the oil? Maybe a sticky valve stem or lifter?

Seafoamed every 6000 miles.
