Wondering what parts I should replace to keep the engine going. Don't have a whole lot of money and want to keep my jeep going.

Not a whole lot. It still runs good. I would just like to keep it that way.

if nothings really wrong just make sure you maintain it well. then you won't be having to worry about replacing parts! just save up some money for potential problems.

Big thing is the maintanence. Keep the fluids changed, check the belts and hoses for cracks and dry rot, replace as needed

Do general maintainence on it.

Maybe some fuel injector cleaner...dump in gas tank.

Jeep/Chrysler sells the Combustion Chamber Cleaner...CCC. Its a spray you put through the throttle body while engine is running. Read the directions. They say to put two cans of it through the motor at a time.

Given I tore down and rebuilt a 215k mile motor for a stroker..and had used it. I was stunned to see the clean valves, chambers of the head etc. It actually does a pretty good job.

Otherwise...Just change the oil...good air filter...keep the motor running about 200 degrees and try not to overheat it. Should be good for 200k at least...if not more.

I agree with what folks say here..routine maintenance, oil changes, tuneups and what not will extend the life of any motor/vehicle. Keep an eye out for leaks or any new and odd noises..Diagnose them and do not let them go without being fixed..One of the biggest mistakes people make is not fixing something when it happens and letting it goes until it then damages something else and so on..
