Default Electrical problem. Short somewhere.

Pretty much all stock I am fixing this thing up and have a short or something. Basically there is a bunch of things not working like A/C blower motor, interior lights, power door locks, radio turns off and on when it pleases, and dim headlights. Fuses are good, and the jeep runs and drives perfectly. Any answers or links to write-ups are greatly appreciated. Need to fix these electrical problems before I put a stereo and new lights and everything in. Thanks a ton everyone.

check battery/starter/alternator cables and connections--pay close attention to grounds. Also the connections at the fuse panel and power distribution center. Make sure connections are clean, crimps are good and they are tight.

you also need to check the main grounds. SteveMongr (member name) just posted a link to where they are in a recent thread. If I find it I will post it

if the headlights are dim (steady dim) there is an easy upgrade. Just search for the putco wiring harness upgrade.

this should get you started in the right direction

When I bought the car It already had the electrical problems, and it already had the aftermarket stereo so hard to say.

I haven't unplugged it but I will tonight if I have enough time after work. Any tips or things to try when I have the dash and stereo off

Not yet. Stereo installations seem to be the cause of many issues......especially lighting.
