I have a 98’ Cherokee sport and I took out my dash over the weekend to rerun a vacuum hose, and when I put everything back together my instrument cluster didn’t work. My blower motor relay is making an awful buzzing noise, also my rear defrost light stays on on the switch. I’ve checked out every fuse I can find under the hood and the dash and replaced every relay. I’ve checked all the wiring, all the connectors and the switch. What else is there to do?

EDIT: I have everything put back together and my blower motor doesn’t come on until I twist my light **** until my accessory lights are supposed to come on then everything works normal.

 

I often see on this forum recommendation to check the ground wire on each side of the dash, if you do a search, diagrams come up showing their location

 

+2 on grounds. Most common problem when people remove dash for any reason.
