Electrical Gremlins

Hey guys, so I just picked up a new Cherokee a few weeks back and I've got some electrical gremlins running around. I hate these things
So my driver's side door control panel is the only one that works, but it's strange. None of the other window buttons on any other door work, just driver. To add to that, the driver's one only works when the door is either completely shut, or at certain positions of it being open. Also, when I do hit the buttons, all the little lights on the panel go off until I let off the button.
And unrelated: AC and battery gauge
If I run the A/C at certain times my battery gauge will read the battery is dead (while the car is running that is) as if the AC has drained my battery.
Has anyone dealt with these can can offer insight?
Thank you!
JJ

Might try this just to see.
Push down on the passenger side window button on the driver's control panel and hold it down when it's at the bottom for 3sec and release. Then try to operate it normally on the passenger side. Repeat for all the other windows on the driver control panel. It has worked on my 2001 in the past, I have no idea why or how it happens or why this fixes it, but it does. lol

Does it happen with the blower on high speed, or only with the AC on?

Does your year still have the master lockout switch on the driver's door? It disables all the other window switches. If so, I bet it's bad. You can bypass it.
See Crusier's post.
I'd start by checking the ground between battery, engine and chassis.

Yes as well. It happens when the blower is full blast and the AC compressor is on.
